Project Leader/Principal Investigator

Aleksandar Štulhofer, PhD, is Full Professor of Sociology, Head of Sexology Unit at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. He has published over one hundred scholarly articles in specialized sociology, political science, economics, psychology, and public health scholarly journals (including over 30 references in PubMed and more than 130 Web of Science citations—self-citations excluded). As the project leader, he will be engaged in all research phases, particularly in theoretical and analytical conceptualization, coordination of research activities, research papers and reports writing, communication with the relevant national institutions, international cooperation, and quality control.

Researchers

Vesna Buško, PhD, is Associate Professor of Psychology, Head of Psychometrics Unit at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her role in the project: project’s chief statistician and principal data analyst; selection of measures and data analytical strategies.

Ivan Landripet, PhD in Sociology, is senior teaching and research assistant at the Department of Sociology (Methodology Unit), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. His role in the project: project coordinator; panel management; data preparation and archival; statistical data analysis.

Ksenija Klasnić, PhD in Sociology, is assistant professor at the Department of Sociology (Methodology Unit), Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She teaches five (mostly methodological) courses at pre-graduate and graduate level. Her role in the project: statistical data analysis.

Taylor Kohut, PhD, is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Zagreb and at Western University. His primary research involves the use and impact of pornography within romantic relationships. Recent research projects have also included experimental and survey investigations of the impact of pornography exposure on the practice of novel sexual behaviors and sexual health behaviors, and surveys concerning the association between pornography use and gender egalitarian attitudes. Other research interests include psychosocial approaches to health promotion behaviors, particularly in the areas of sexual risk reduction and prevention behaviors.

Marija Brajdić Vuković, PhD in Sociology, is assistant professor at the Department of Sociology, Centre for Croatian Studies, University of Zagreb. She teaches the Introduction to social sciences methodology at pre-graduate and Qualitative methods and social impact analysis at graduate level. Her research interests are primarily in the field of Sociology of science and technology and Social science research methodology. Her role in the project: data analysis and data dissemination coordinator; statistical data analysis.

Jadranka Knežević Ćuća, PhD in biomedicine, is the Head of Laboratory of diabetes-related autoimmune markers at the Clinical Hospital Merkur, Department of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine. Her role in the project: coordinator of the biological component of the study; biological data collection; laboratory testing procedures.
